External Warehouse Attendant vacancy at AfriSam
AfriSam is recruiting and accepting applications for External Warehouse Attendant vacancy.
Responsibilities:
- All warehouse duties with specific focus on offloading and loading bulk cement and fly ash
- Loading transporter tankers per correct weight distribution for the truck and loaded per Traffic Road Regulations
- Efficiently operate the forklift to move cement and fly ash products within optimal timeframes using the right handling techniques
- Reporting breakages and missing bags
- Ensuring the correct product type and quantity is loaded in accordance with authority to load
- Maintaining Safety, Health and Environmental standards
Experience and Qualifications:
- Grade 12/ Amended Senior Certificate/ NCV Level 4/ Technical Matric – N3 (4 technical subjects + 2
official languages) - Forklift driver’s license
- Minimum of one (1) year experience in a related industry preferably with experience in the operating bulk handling equipment, and driving a forklift
- Very proficient in operating the bulk handling equipment
Skills and Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of forklift operation
- Good knowledge of all required Depot safety practices
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental risks
